To tribulations of mankind
Dame Nature is indifferent;
To human sorrow she is blind,
And deaf to human discontent.
Mid fear and fratricidal fray,
Mid woe and tyranny of toil,
She goes her unregarding way+
Of sky and sun and soil.
In leaf and blade, in bud and bloom
Exultantly her gladness glows,
And careless of Man’s dreary doom
Around the palm she wreathes the rose;
Creating beauty everywhere,
With happy bird in holy song . . .
Please God, let us be unaware
Like her of wrath and wrong.
Let us too be indifferent,
And in her hands our fate resign;
Aye, though the world with rage is rent
Let us be placid as the pine.
For if we turn from greed and guile
Maybe Dame Nature will relent,
And bless us with her lovely smile
Of comfort and content.

and how does it relate with nature…..
a quote in the poem should represent that
THANKS

It simply talks about the powerful existence of nature and how uncontrollable things can be no matter how excruciating, what will happen will happen. Despite of the loudest scream of the passengers when Titanic was drowning, nature didn’t seem to hear and was so numb of changing the scenario. And yet, it can bring you the happiest piece of experience one wants to hold forever (In leaf and blade, in bud and bloom.

The author seems to address the poem to God. It’s like his way of sending a universal prayer to help each mankind understand the nature of his existence.
It means accept your fate, your position in life and be subservient to your needs and wants, as there is a bigger picture than just you. Embrace this and be content.
Mind you, this is true of animals…but man knows he is mortal and that is where all is confused, as Man will try to be above all this baseness and fatality. He will not go quietly into that dark night. He will challenge Mother Nature. He will lose. It is a Catch 22 situation. More and more poems like this will be written, ad infinitum!
