Forensics Tournament:Oral Interpretation:poetry piece?

My piece for prose is The Nightmare at 20,000 feet by richard matheson and my poetry piece is the cremation of sam mcgee by robert service. i don’t like the poem. does anyone have any suggestions that i can replace it with. It should be lively, have lots of expression, different characters then giving me opportunity to change my voice, and be able to be read more like a story rather than a poem since it is a competition not a recital.

sebenarnya lebih ditekankan pada intonasi saat membaca
dan atau adanya beberapa penekanan yang harus disampaikan

really there is an intonation while you’re reading and ‘aksen ‘ (voice action) to determinate for the audience can understand

I would try to still use that piece. The art it not just reading what you like but being able to pick up anything and making it come to life!

The cremation of Sam Magee is a classic. Hank snow recorded it, you can download it and listen to it. It’s a really good piece. That and Dangerous Dan McGrew.
